Bama Lax Select

November 7-8th the Bamalax Select team will attend the Southern Combat in Atlanta.  This event is a college recruiting event with college run clinics and top notch competition

What a phenomenal effort by the Bamalax HS team taking on men's league powerhouses like the Flying Elvis's from Memphis and Atlanta's Southern Empire.  On day one of the tournament Bamalax defeated team Tennessee 8-5 in their first game and then took down the 502 Flow in Over-time.  The last game of the day saw Bamalax hold a 2 goal lead on Memphis with under 3 minutes left, The Elvis's tied the game up and ended up winning by one with under a minute remaining.  The next day, Bamalax came back from a 3 goal deficit to tie Southern empire but ended up losing 9-6. Overall it was a tremendous start to the 2009 Bamalax season ! 

Fees for the 2009 season are due at the next practice.  Make sure you are working on stick skills every day.  Nashville is June 6-7, BSC tournament June 13th, Alabama games June 20-21, Southern Sizzle July 4-5
